Is this course the same as having a private tutor?
No, and that's why they complement each other well. A tutor helps you build confidence speaking live. But they don't give you structured content, dictation, pronunciation scoring or flashcards. You also need to find the right tutor, schedule sessions that work for both of you, and hope you click. Ideally, you'd combine both.
